Wyeth BioPharma Grange Castle
The Grange Castle facility in Dublin, Ireland, represented the largest investment to date by Wyeth BioPharma.
It was conceived in 1999, due to the success of Enbrel, and we were appointed in 2000.
Our role was to provide support during the key phases of the facility start-up. Initial tasks included coordinating the planning and permitting phase of the project, and developing the User Definition document, which proved essential for good communication, control and ownership.

Prior to the recruitment of key directors, we performed an interim management role.
We supported the establishment of the Programme Management Office (PMO), developed an integrated programme management schedule to manage and help mitigate project timelines, set up management reporting and project control mechanisms, and sat on the programme steering committee.
We also facilitated an accelerated commissioning & validation initiative with the prime contractors.
In addition we supported operational start-up across a number of key functions including Quality, Engineering and Production; and rolled-out project management training across the campus.
We continue to provide on-going support to management.
